THE GENERAL ELECTION
(Pee United Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, July 31.Mr G. Hunter, the sitting member, will contest the Waipawa seat. Mr R. B. Ross is definitely announced as a candidato for the Pahiatua seat, which lio formerly represented.
Mr W. P. Black, of Auckland, intends to contest the Bay of Islands seat at the forthcoming election as an Independent Labour candidate.
Mr George Gardner, of Medbury, will be a candidate for the Hurunui scat in the House of Representatives at the general election.
