GERMAN COAL
DEMANDED BY THE ALLIES. IMMEDIATE DELIVERY REQUIRED. . BERLIN, July 26. < (Received July 31, at 8.45 pm ) , Ifc is stated that t-lic Allies have notified Germany that they require the immediate delivery of huge quantities of German coal in accordance with the treaty. This demand caused consternation amongst members of the German Government, who pleaded that it would provoke Bolshevism. The Allies replied that they knew how to deal -with that.—The Times.
