At a meeting of tho Management Commit beoof. the New Zealand Cricket Council to-aig-ht it was decided to recommend to the council that an invitation be extended to the bouth Australian Association to send a team to New Zealand next season, and in the event of South Australia being unable to send a team that the council be authorised to communicate with tho Australian Association with a view to sending an Austra.ian team to New Zealand. It was agreed to recommend the Otago UricKet Association to endeavour to arrange for the visit of a team to play a North utago Meven at Oamaru during tho forthcoming sesson with a view to stimulating interest in cricket there.
