IMPRESSIONS OF PEACE TERMS.

He said the peace terms were onerous, and he thought some of them unnecessary, superfluous, and impracticable. All now would depend on the Germans themselves. If they honourably intended to carry out the conditions, he felt certain that difficulties would be removed.
AJ'tor. paying a tribute to the attitude of tho British statesmen, who, he said, led the world, ho appealed to tho people to discuss their own difficulties with calmness. He anticipated for-South Africa such development as she had never before known.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
