(Received July 23, at 9.45 p.m.) A mass meeting of returned soldiers, after an address by General Brand regarding the recent riots, unanimously resolved in favour of the maintenance of law and order, and dissociated themselves from the hoodlums and disloyal elements responsible for the trouble.
