In the cricket match between the Australian Eleven and the Victorian Representative Eleven, the latter continued their second innings, and were all disposed of for 245 runs. The Australians then went in for their second innings, and after losing two wickets for 24 runs, won the match by eight wickets.

Three camels, which belonged to the Burke and Wills expedition in 186061, have been captured near Wilcannia, on the Darling river, in the north-west of this Colony.

The Queensland Banks have reduced their rates of interest on deposits to 2, 3, and 4 per cent, for three, six and tw el ye months respectively. The rates of discount have been reduced to 6, 7, and 8 per cent, for three and four months, and beyond, respectively.
