NEW COAL DISCOVERIES.
(by telegraph.) Chkistchurch, August 5. new seams of coal have been discovered at the Malvern Hills, respectively 9 feet and 3 feet thick. Wellington", August 5. A landslip on the face of one of the jUJIf doae abutting on the Picton harbor las revealed a 14ft seam of good marketable brown coal, which, on being tested, proved of fair steaming qualities.
