SPECIAL TELEGRAMS.
(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENTS.) DUNEDBSr. September 10. The search for bodies was discontinued at five last evening. The walls are now being pulled down. Benjamin Fuller, pawnbroker, was charged at the Police Court with denying to the detective officer that he purchased field glasses which had been stolen. He was dismissed, the Bench holding that no intention of fraud had been established, but recommended the police to oppose the renewal of the license. Sir George Grey has telegraphed to the Misses Wilson, expressing his deep sympathy at their loss. The Mayor replied to the Premier that the girls are not yet acquainted with their loss. They are progressing favorably.
