[FROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Lo>"do>\ July 4. The Italian Ministry has been defeated. Parliament has resumed business. July 6. Thehop binesare backward,and the weather unfavorable. They are suffering from the ravages of the fly. Tallow is in good request, but with no noticeable change in quotations. The corn market is strong, with an upward tendency. The continued rains are enhancing the value of nearly all cereal produce. July 8. Victorian six per cent, debentures are qnoted at 108 ; Victorian live per cents, 107; New South Wales five per cents, 109 ; New Zealand four per cents, 100 i ; Queensland four per cents, 91-A ; South Australian four per cents, 9Gi; Victorian four per cents, 97 ; Colonial debentures are iu active demand. The open market rate is 1] per cent, under the bank rate. There has been a heavy drop in railway shares. Melbourne best light ox hides are worth 4gd ; and Sydney best heavy, 4£d. Present quotations for tin are from LG2 to LG4. The total arrivals of wool amount to upwards of 300,000 bales. July 9. The House of Commons has decided in favor of the appointment of a Minister of Agriculture,
