AUSTRALIAN STEAMER.

The Albion arrived last night, but the tender only returned this morning. The Albion left Melbourne on the 17th. She brings no Australian news of importance. Nothing is talked of but the elections. The result of these so far has been the return of 51 Oppositionists and only 15 Ministerialists. The elections have been a crushing defeat to the Government. The polling was very close. Two members of the Ministry have lost their seats, and many old members were rejected.
