FINING DOWN

CINCE her arrival m Australia the two-year-old Nedda must have been, fed on vanishing cream, as she is now about as fat as an earthworm which has been treated to a body press by a steam roller. Despite her miserable appearance her connections plonked it on her again m the Caulfield Alma Stakes, but once more left it there. If they keep backing her and shedoes not hand out better runs than the last two she will have to get her name changed to Ned Kelly, as she has already parted the public from a fair bit of cash.
