OUTSTANDING was the performance w of Jack Elliott, who ran two clink-' ing races to collect the 100 yds. and 220 yds. titles. He broke evens m the former, but was aided by a light breeze blowing down the track. He clocked 22 2/5 sec. for the fmion? and won comfortably from Herb. McCoy. Elliott is m fine fettle just now, and Aucklanders look to him to carry the provincial colors with merit when the national titles are decided this week.
