The New Zealand Council is represented directly on the International Swimming Federation by ' John Hodgson, of Liverpool, who was, at the last conference of the Federation, elected to the Bureau of the Federation, a body of eight men who have the last word m swimming administration throughout the world and also are the only body to contro. their own branch of the sport at the Olympic Games.
