Dilworth Is The Goods (By "The Toff.") After jazzing to Ramona at the start of the Dominion Handicap, Dilworth strolled to the front with a, round to go and never left the issue m doubt. CHE beat a lot of boomed moderates very easily. . After enjoying herself at the party . with the starter she carved out the journey of twelve and a-half furlongs m 3.39 (2.20 clip), and she was going away from her rivals. From the word go Thorpie hit the front and got to the first half-mile m 1.1.2 with Locanda Boy, Pet Locanda and "Wainoni hammering at the door. Then Wainoni dropped back and Hackthorne, Rose Marie and later Dilworth decided to participate m the argument. With a round covered, Thorpie and Locanda Boy were almost on terms with Pet Locanda still sailing along m third place. Everything was full of interest until Dilworth shot up on the bend and then dashed into the lead. From then on it was a foregone conclusion. • . - Going down the back the iast time Pet Locanda got the stitch, and Hackthorne and Rose Marie Avent m pursuit of Dilworth. Thorpie then tired, and rounding the bend for home Kreisler put m his claim. Nothing could reach Dilworth and Kreisler beat Hackthorne by two lengths for second money. Rose Marie was fourth. Binscarth broke soon after the start, and Star Lady and Curfew Boy failed to get on the journey safely. ' •■ , Next season will take Dilworth into select company!
