FROM THE NORTH
Runners At Wellington Trots i (From "N.Z. Truth's" Auckland Rep.) Not many Auckland horses were nominated for the Wellington meeting, but some are likely to make the trip. MELSON DILLON if produced is likely to cart them along and there will be an inclination to favor him. More m particular will he come m for attention when it is recalled that his owner's claim for a refund of £50 speculated' on him at Claudelands is not receiving much prominence. The request for the refund of the quidlets came about it will be remembered through Anselm starting off his wrong mark and topping Lee's charge off for second place. If Nelson Dillon that day was a £50 punting proposition he should be worth a modest ten bob on Saturday. Tiger Salve, The Abbey doing it right from the get-off, Jackie Audubon and Trustworthy are some of the Epsomites with sufficient toe to earn a bit. However, there are others from the south that will give the northerners hurry up dope and if they win they will be fully entitled to all of the stake.
