Melbourne Derby For Hinkler (By "The Toff") Billy Tomkinson has decided to send the pacing gelding, Hinkler, j to Australia to contest the Melbourne Derby. LIINKLER has won two handicap races m a manner that makes it obvious that he is a tip-top three-year-old. To date, he only has been required to go at at:,-2.20 clip to win, but will take a faster, mark before he sails for the Commonwealth. He is engaged at Wellington on Saturday • and at Forbury a week later, where he should add to his list of successes. Hinkler is by Nelson Bingen from Sympathy, which w r as ,a, useful pacer m her day. Tomkinson may not accompany Hinkler to Australia, and it is doubtful whether he will go over to drive the youngster m the Melbourne classic-
