Musical Neville

TVUNEDIN is doing itself proud. It U would seem that the dear old folk down there have gone m for amusements m a big way. Always a place where musical talent is recognized and appreciated, Dunedin has recently erected more than one theatre which bid fair to outdo anything m New Zealand for splendor of equipment and magnificence. The new Regent is one of them. And to do the thing properly, Neville Ravell, late musical director of the "Rose Marie" Company, has been asked to come over and take charge of the Regent's music. Dunedin can now sit back and look for something special. For there's magic m the baton wielded by Ravell. Anyway, we envy Neville Ravell. He is fortunate m a happy personality and unusual ability — two facts that will make his life m Dunedin a happy one; for, m true Scottish fashion, Dunedin does not take much notice of anyone who cannot deliver the goods. But they throw their doors open to talent . . . and therefore. Ravell will have the time of his life m the Caledonia of the South.
