A PROBABLE candidate at. the next election' is J. W. Munro, who will ; stand for Dunedin North, •' Defeated last election by H^ L. Tapley, he stood for the Council and ft Harbor Board, having no difficulty whatever m getting m. Not a pusher, he says little, but what he says is well worth listening to, but perhaps m his case actions speak louder than words. It is still remembered how this wellread,, thoughtful, genuinely hospitable man, when he had a bakery business, gave away loaves galore m times of stress, not only fulfilling the Biblical injunction to feed the - hungry, but showing every kindness to the unfortunate m general.
