THE HUNTERS
Open The Day On Tuesday
One of the most comfortable victories scored at Riccarton last Saturday was registered by Diana's Lad. LIE contested the Kennels Hurdles and, though coming' to the last fence it looked like Rangl Sarto gathering him, once over Diana's Lad Just went away to win as he liked. He |s engaged m the Hunters' Hurdles, which opens the day at Riccarton on Tuesday. A rise of eight pounds may not stop him and the little extra distance should be within his reach. A dangerous one from the north will be Home Made, which ran a great race at Trentham last month. ' He lost his chance of winning by getting into the last fence. Then he ran third to San Pedro and Troilus. That form is worth keeping m mind. Loughrea has a lot of weight and may take on the other race, while Rang! Sarto, it is predicted, will race m the Enfield. Pink Rose can gallop, well, but Gold Town, after last Saturday's display, is In disgrace. , ; . Chrissarto has won over hurdles, while at New Year time Oriflamb made a proper job of Diana's Lad. ' •,.'■■ The public will no doubt be most interested m: ' HOME MADE and DIANA'B LAD. •
