MINOR EVENT
Enfield Sees Lesser Lights
Following as It does on the heels of the National the interest m the Enfield Steeplechase is not so great. CTILL, as things are this year, there " is every prospect of the minor event proving every bit as exciting as the major race.- ( Dubious will no doubt run m the National, leaving Radiate on top. 'He is a game sort, jumps well and hangs oh till the but he met with a mishap after running second to Matu at Trentham. Jovial is a free jumper, but with the same rider as. he had at Trentham he will^ be murdered. Jovial should be a nice sort of a mount for a lad who Is consent to sit still on him. Royal Fashion and Royal Wink have recent form to their credit, but it would be passed by for Rangi-Sarto were he at his best. Providing the race last Saturday has not done that wound any harm he will be the hardest to beat. There is some doubt about Radiac, and, m the case of Captain Sarto, he is too in-and-put. .In the north Awangawanga would not be considered, nor would Raumanuwhiri. , Two that make a direct appeal are: RANGI SARTO and JOVIAL.
