Two Witty Songs

COLUMBIA 4188: "Ninepanca a Week" and "Not old Enough to be Old." Sung by W. H. Berry, comedian, from "Princess Charming." Good old W. H. Berry! Nobody who has seen his ruddy and cheerful face can forget the irresistible fun he puts into all his «ongs. But just as much of the fun finds its way into his records. His voice would never create a sensation ln Covent Garden, but it simply oozes good-humor. "Not Old Enough to be Old" is a great bit of fun and tells the sad story of the man of SQ, who has reached the awkward age where a man thinks of having one final "bust-up;" but while "his heart says 'Yes,' his chassis says 'No!'" "Ninepence a Week," is nearly as good and is quite funny enough to sell the record.
