CATERING FOR WOMEN'S SPORTS “We must admit that young women are not nearly so well catered for ai men in regard to sport.” Thus observed the Mayor (Mr C. J. B. Norwood) at last night's meeting of the City Council, when replying to a deputation that advocated the extension of reserves in the city. “The council will see how far it can go to more nearly equalise the position,” he added. “We are pleased to see the girls are coming out into the athletic circles, and we shall have a better woman as a result.”
