ABSCONDED FROM BAIL
DUNCAN ARRESTED IN SYDNEY STOWED AAV AY FROM NEW ZEALAND. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. (Received December 2, 9.50 p.m.) SYDNEY, December 2. Alfred Duncan, who arrived as a stowaway from jtaw Zealand, failed to j>ass a dictation test, and was sentenced to one month’s hard labour, pending his deportation to New Zealand. The police stated that Duncan had absconded from bail in New Zealand, where he was awaiting trial on charges of breaking and entering.
