LEGION OF FRONTIERSMEN

MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of “I” Squadron Headquarters was held in the U.S.A. rooms, Brandon street, last week, when Lieut.-Colonel R. St. J. Bcere was in the chair. Eleven new members were admitted, bringing the squadron strength up to fiftv-five. Reports on the progress of the Wellington and Lower Hutt (Waiwetu) Troop were received. Troop Leader Taylor reported having held two meetings at his residence. A room had been obtained at the Town Hall. Lower Hutt, and future meetings would be held there. It was decided that headquarters should hold an open night on the next meeting night, December 20th. After the business was concluded an interesting lecturette on wireless as used by the Army and Nnvv during tho war was given by Mr Robertson. The interest taken in this was noticed bv the bombardment of questions asked the speaker.
