ELECTION CERTAIN
MR LOUGHLIN STILL ADAMANT LABOUR PARTY MAKING READY TWO MEMBERS RESIGN By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. SYDNEY, November 26. Efforts to make arrangements which would enable the Government to carry on have failed. It is authoritatively stated that Messrs Gillies and Goodin have tendered to the secretary of the Labour Party their resignations as members of that party. Mr has definitely stated that he will not go back on his word that there must be an appeal to the country within four months. Members of the Labour Party declare that they are preparing for an election, as they do not want to be caught at the last moment. Most members on all sides have chosen the electorates they intend to contest under the single-seats scheme.
