AN UNWELCOME VISITOR
DRUNK AT CARD PARTY INJURIES RESULT IN DEATH. Per Pross Association. DUNEDIN, November 26. The coroner, Mr Dixon, held an inquest at Balclutha concerning the death of Victor Mark- Hansen (39), who died at the Balclutha Hospital on Monday. The evidence showed that the deceased went to a card party intoxicated, and was told either to behave or leave. He attempted to strike tho president, T. Milne, and fell out of the door on to the pavement, receiving injuries to the head. The coroner found that death was duo to concussion, and that the deceased alone was to blame.
