NEW PRINCESS THEATRE
“BEHIND THE FRONT.” Wallace Beery, Raymond Hatton, and Mary Brian are the featured players in "Behind the Front,” the Paramount war comedy which heads the programme now showing at the New Princess Theatre. No funnier scenes have been pictured than those showing the bewildered heroes during inspection, when they are about as untidy as it is possible to conceive in the trenches, and in the guard house, in "No-Man,’B Land,” and in a mad rido In a captured tank, in which they perform unheard of feats of valour. Richard- Dix and Lois Wilson, in "Let’s Get Married” is the second feature. It deals with the wild adventures of a youth fresh from college, who, after painting the town red, is given 30 days in gaol. How he contrives to keep up liis courtship whilst in gaol is most humourous. "The Life of Jack Hobbs” is a third, interesting feature. A gazette, a serial, and a further group of the children’s beauty contest competitors are seen in support.
