MR TEMPLE WHITE’S PUPILS
TOWN HALL, WEDNESDAY. A really splendid programme has been arranged by Mr Temple White for a recital to be given in the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, on Wednesday next, December Ist, at 8 p.m., by some of his selected pupils. The first, part of the programme will be operatic numbers, and includes such
well-known and popular numbers as the "Quartet” from Verdf’s "Rigoletto,” and the "Sextet” from "Lucia di Lammermoor” (Donizetti). The second part will be miscellaneous. Practically all of those taking part are welt known public singers, and include Mrs Eleanor Hempton and Myrtle Sawyer (sopranos), Mrs \V. J. Coventry and Nellie Amies (contraltos), Frank Bryant and Samuel Duncan (tenors), Charles Hickmott (baritone), and lan Daniell (bass), so that the quality of the fare to he provided ifi rjsured. Programmes may he obtained at local music warehouses, or at the booking office nt "The Bristol,” where those desirous of making sure of a seat may reserve on payment of a fee of Is Id.
