A local solicitor had a rather novel and embarrassing experience the other day whin ne saw his name, correct t 6 the vAry initials, in tile list of defaulting debtors against whom judgment had been given in t?ie Magistrate's Court. NeCdleSs to say, Mr H. H. Cornish, of Wellington, the solicitor in question, was not particularly gratified at seeing his name in the undesirable context, and proceeded to inquire who his embarrassing “double” wns. It turned out that the H. H. Cornish against whom judgment was given wns not the local resident but lived at Wanganui.
