Cold-stored New Zealand butter is unchanged in price, but buyers consider that New Zealand control prices of new arrivals at 148 s and 150 s per cwt are too high; consequently there is very iittlo selling. The multiple shops have reduced the retail prices of the best salted butter to la 5d per lb. Cheese is slow. New Zealand is quoted at 84s and 85s per cwt.
