A FIERCE RAPIER DUEL
A rapier duel occurred at daybreak on a recent morning at Gairaut, six miles outside Nice, between Leonida Canipolonghi. editor of the Italian page of the French anti-Fasoist paper, “La France/* and Signor Porta, the editor of an Italian Fascist paper, “II Pensiero Itnliano.” After a fierce fight, which lasted half an hour. Signor Cnmpolonghi touched his opponent, opening a vein in the right forearm.
