COLLEGE ▼. H.M.S. DIOMEDE A match at Wellington College between the College eleven and a team from H.M.S. Diomede resulted in a win for the former on the first innings. College batted first, and declared the innings closed with five wickets down for 141 runs (Osborn 20. Pe the rick 34, Tipping 27. Gifford 33 not'nut. Turner 10 not out). In reply the team from the Diomede compiled 134 runs (Shaw 29. Everett 17, Rowley 29,'.Tone* I*2 not out, and Rivers 15 not out). Bowling for the Diomede, Smith took two wickets for 11 runs, and for College Osborn took four for 4d, Caldwell two for 21, and McDonald three for 37.
