Too annual monling *>f tho Foxton Horticultural and Industrial Society was hold last week, when tho glance-sheet showed the society had a credit balance, in hand of JOB Cs Od. Mr T. H«dw»a was inadfl a lifo member of tho society in "recognition of valuable, services rendered On Mr Hornblow's suggestion it was decided to consider tfie piirchnsuiß of bad"e-» for presentation to life member!. Mr A. S. Easton van elected pation of the society, and, Mr W. Renton president. Mr G. C. Pattcrsoi handed in his resignation as secretary, and ho was heartily thanked for his valuable seivicea over a lengthy period
