Tho Taratu coal miners on strike mot this afternoon to consider telegrams from tho Prime Minister and the secretary of tho Miners’ 1< ('deration, both o'f which urged the men to return to work and submit tho dispute to the National Disputes Committee, which will meet early next week in Wellington. It was decided to adopt this course, ho shift men will start work at once, and the miners and all other hands on Monday.
