STATE-AIDED EMIGRANTS
£IOO,OOO PROPOSED FOR OVERSEAS SETTLERS. State aid for emigration is the suggestion which the Overseas 'Settlement Committee make in a White Paper just issued in London. Thi» committee recommended that the Imperial Government should ho prepared to undertake an annual expenditure, not exceeding for the year 1920-21 £IOO,OOO, in addition to tho expenditure to which they are committed for free passages to approved cx-Servicc men and women.
