EXTENSIVE VILLAGE ON KUMATtA. , re*, mr.ss ta=orr vnov. D GNEDIN, June 7. The steamer-* Knmara aiTi'ved at Dunedin on May 28lh from New Vorkr via Lyttelton, and sailed on June 2nd for Melbourne. Among tho cargo landed in Dunedin was a consignment of kid leather consisting of eighteen oases. On opening them at tho wharf to-day, it was discovered, that eight cases contained bricks and atones only, tho original contents, valued at £2500, having been pillaged.
