Tho recent decision of a section of the university footballers to play the League game has led to much criticism and severe condemnation in amateur circles. With a view of testing the position, tho secretary of the University" League Football Club has circularised all sporting bodies asking them to attend a conference to dis cuss the question of the amateur abacus' and tho formation of a wealthier bodv than the Amateur Sporting Federation to control the sport.
