It forgives all who distorted-the,Papal intentions during the war. -The prohibition against Catholic rulers visiting tho King of Italy is rescinded, but it is emphasised that this must not be interpreted as a "tacit renunciation of sacrosanct rights, 'otherwise the Pontiff will renew bis predecessor’s protesta for the purpose of. safeguarding the rights and dignities of tho Holy See.
