Mr A. S. Mao Shane, who has been secretary of the New Zealand Golf Association for some, years past, has resigned the and at the last meeting of the council, members expressed their high appreciation of Mr MacShane’.s services ,-to the association. Mr G. 0; Sutton has been appointed secretary of tiie association. . The New Zealand golf championship tournament is to be held on the St. Andrew’s links, Hamilton, from September 13th to 18th, and it ia anticipated that a number of Wellington golfers will be present.
