Fraser, M.P. for Wellington Central, who is visiting Auckland, wir©£ to the Minister for Railways protesting against his action in vetoing the unanimous decision of the Railway Ap» peal Board in the Longton case. Ho says it reduces, the Appeal Board to a farce, and makes railwaymen feel that there was no, protection or justice! for them. “Your action," he aay s “which seems both tyrannical and without the slightest justification, is bound to increase the widespread dissatisfaction with the railway service. Your are simply driving railway workers to the esr trendty by your latest example of industrial Kaiserism.”
