BOY’S ADVENTURES
FROM CHRISTCHURCH TO AUCK- ' LAND ON BOOT-MONEY. Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 14. A boy, aged about 12 years, \is at present at the Salvation Army Home while the police are endeavouring locate his parents. As, far as can be gathered, the lad comes from Christchurch. Ho was given money by his mother to purchase some -boots, but, desiring to see more of New Zealand, ho boarded the ferry boat at Lyttelton instead and travelled to Wellington Hero he foil in with two soldiers, who, on being told that he wished to see some relatives in Auckland, paid his railway fare. They kept a friendly eye on tho lad after arrival, and, ns fains they can gather, he has no relatives here. He was, therefore, handed over to the police for safe keeping pending further information.
