Prior to interviewing Cabinet on Saturday morning. members of tho Wellington Watersido Workers' Union held n "stop work" meeting m ■ tho Artcruft Theatre. The • president (Jlr L. Glover) presided, and the theatro was fairly full. Tho meeting considered tho question of tho selection of delegates to attend the l''odoratioit Conference to be held in Wellington on Wednesday, "and it was d«eidod to send lour.
A report was ractivad from the officers regarding tho health of passangara and crews of ships arriving in port. The general opinion amongst members was that every precaution must be taken to prevent anothor outbreak ot influenza.
