iAiUCTIONEEHS' EEPOE.T. Abraham and Williams, Ltd. Abraham and Williams. ' Ltd., report that at the Owhangb yards on the Ist inst., there was a good yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle. There was a good attendance of the public, and all sheep yarded changed hands under the hammer at satisfactory prices, but cab Uo were hard to quit at reduced prices. Prices -ruling were as follows;—Pat ewes Vita 5d to 37a, store ewes 12a to 16s 4d, iambs to 9s 9d, lambs good to 19s, cull lambs to 5s 9d, 18-month steers £4 10s to .B 6 ss, 18-month heifers r.w.b. to £6, store cows to £4 10a, dairy cows to Jill, calves small to 21s.
Abraham and Williams, Ltd., held their fortnightly sale at Hunteryille on. Tuesday. Pair yardings came to hand and met with a better aale than of late. Quotations: —Medium 2-tooth wethers 25s to 25s Id, m.s. do. 22s 6d. m.s. lambs 14s Gd. small do. Ss lid, 2-year steers £8 2s to JO), 2i-year do. £9 to £9 10s, cull do. JUS, 18-month steers JSi 10» to £5 Is, empty cows £4 10s to Jl7 12s 6d, poor do. £3 10s to £4 10s, dairy heifers dose to profit £lO to £ll.
N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency. The Loan and Mercantile Agency reports:—On Tuesday we held a very successful sale at Carnarvon on account of Mr B. J. llerham, who has sold his property. There was a good attendance of the public, and bidding being brisk, good prices were obtained in spite of the dry weather conditions. Wo quote: Sheep—Porward 4-tooth wethers 80s 2d, 3-year ewes r.w. Shropshire rams 28s Id, b.f. wethers 28s, mixed 2-tooth 23s 9d, cull lambs 5s 7d to 6s. Cattle —Dairy cows close to profit £lO 10s to .614 10s and up to £lB, heifers, forward in calf £0 12s 6d, backward heifers in calf £5 ss, 18-month steers £5 ss, Holstein bull .66, small weaners 15s. Horses —Light draught ;£2U, £l2, Ml, £lB 10s, Al 4 to £l2 10s. brood mare with foal at foot .£l3, yearling fillies £2 15s and £6, 2 and 3-year-olds £5 to £lO.
