CATHOLIC MISSION

The mission at St, Joseph's Church, Buckle street, by the Marist Misskmers, is being attended by crowded congregations each morning and evening. At tho evening devotions tho spacious church is too small to accommodate tho people, and seats are provided in- the sanctuary and the choir. Tho number of communicants increases each day as tho mission progresses. Another feature of tho mission is tho congregational singing, assisted by the choir. The sermon last night on “Confession,” was preached by the Rev. Father Ainsworth, B.M. To-mor-row tho mission concludes, and a special appeal is made to all the parishioners to atend Holy Communion. At tho evening devotions tho “Renewal of tho Baptismal Vows” will take place. Tonight the mission sermon will bo preached by tho Rev. Father McCarthy, 8.M., on “Tho Credentials of tho Catholic Church.”
