MANY BUSINESS PLACES DESTROYED. Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, May 6, 1.40 a.m. , A big raging in Stratford, and already the premises of the following have been destroyed;—Sheehan (tobacconist), Sladden and Palmer (civil I engineers), Ford-(bootmaker), Finnerty 1 (estate.ragentijx-; Richardson (grocer), W. G. - Fargie (estate agent), Xyrcr (solicitor), MoCluggage and Co. (estate agents), Cook (tailor), J. ■D. Healy (architect), On Keo (grocer), Harris , Parker (refreshment rooms). At 1.30 o’clock the Stratford Farmers’ Co-operative Stores and Foster’s bootmaker’s shop were being attacked by fire. . . -The buildings are on a railway rcvnear line-
