ALLEGED THEFT OF BOOKS

Press Association. , AUCKLAND, February 19. The arrest of Frederick John Craddock, manager of the Craddock Hardware Company, of Christchurch, was effected to-night by Detective Hammond on a charge of theft of tho books of that company. _ Orfiddock had been missing from Christchurch for the past three weeks. He will appear in court to-morrow, and a remand to Christchurch will be asked for.
