A BURGLARY

Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 19. Mr R. McCaulfield’s house in Mill road, Paeroa, was entered by some person last night and £l2 in notes stolen from under a mattress on McOaulfield’s bed. McCaulfield left tho house at 8.30; all the doors were then locked and the lights out. On returning about an hour later hq found all tho doors open and a big light burning in the kitchen. The bedroom was disarranged, and the blankets wore found under a water-tap outside the house. Papers were scattered about tho room, but tho money was missing.
