STREET FIRE ALARMS
“DUPLEX” SYSTEM ADOPTED IN DUNEDIN. Press Association. DUNEDIN, February 10. At a meeting of the Fire Board today it was decided to adopt the lex” svstem of street fire alarms. it is expected that the ne cost of the first installation will be £IBOO. The system is the invention of Mr Porter, who drives the Fire Board motor engine.
