BLOCKING TRAFFIC
LECTURERS ON ANTI-MILITAR-ISM IN COURT. 1 Press Association, i GREYMOUTH, February 3. Tho Magistrate’s Court was occupied all tho afternoon hearing-a case against three passive resisters, John McTaggart, R. J. Wearno, and James Nuttall for obstructing Mawhera quay by delivering an address on anti-mili-tarism on January 25th. They came from Bunanga to Greymouth and cansed a block in traffic for an hour. The point raised in defence was: Was tho obstruction cansed by the defendants or by the crowd? The magistrate reserved his decision.
