COSTUME CRICKET-MATCH.

The above match,- between the theatricals 1 and a town team;, came off; on the Basin Reserve on Saturday. Tlreiweather was favorable for the play, and there was a very fair attendance, although we should have been pleased to see a greater numDer ,of spectators present, considering the object to which the proceeds of the gate money is to be applied. The match was very amusing, the " make-ups'i of the players on both sides being good in every instance, and excessively comical in some, especially that of Mr. Chuck. The following are the scores, from which it will be seen that the theatricals gained the victory, by there being no second, innings for the town players.
